I teach IB Physics and have worked with Diploma students, mostly HL but a fair number of SL too. My sessions usually start with the student’s current class notes or past-paper mistakes, then we work backwards to the theory. I’m especially strong on mechanics, fields and IA data analysis, and I’m quite direct when a method is costing marks. Parents usually ask me to step in when Paper 2 explanations are too thin.
